Affiliate Program Terms

1. Joining the program

Submit an application with accurate information about yourself or your organization, your audience, and your proposed promotion methods. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter this agreement. An organization must apply through an authorized representative.

Applications require our approval. Wait for approval before promoting an affiliate link. We may decline an application or request more information. Keep your account information current and your login credentials secure.

You participate independently. Approval does not make you an employee, agent, or business partner authorized to act for Timber Brands. Earnings are not guaranteed. We do not pay commissions for recruiting other affiliates.

2. Commission rates

• Starting rate: 10% of qualifying product revenue attributed to your account.
• Higher rate: 15% on future qualifying referrals after your account reaches $250 in cumulative paid commissions.

The $250 milestone refers to commissions paid to you, not customer spending or unpaid commissions. The higher rate begins after the qualifying payout is recorded and your account reaches the milestone. Earlier referrals are not recalculated at 15%. There is no monthly reset.

For example, $1,000 in qualifying product revenue earns $100 at 10%, or $150 at 15%. These are calculation examples, not typical or guaranteed earnings.

A different rate or campaign arrangement applies only when agreed with you in writing before the relevant referrals.

3. Qualifying purchases

A qualifying purchase is a genuine customer order through timberbrandsusa.com that is successfully attributed to your approved affiliate account, paid, fulfilled, and eligible under these terms.

Commission is calculated on eligible product revenue after discounts, excluding shipping, taxes, and refunded amounts. Custom engraved products can qualify on the same basis.

• Your own purchases and orders placed by you on another person’s behalf do not qualify as referrals.
• Unpaid, canceled, fraudulent, fully refunded, or charged-back orders do not qualify. Partial refunds may reduce the commission.
• Wholesale and separately quoted bulk orders require written confirmation of commission eligibility and tracking before the order.
• Offline purchases, telephone orders, and separately issued invoices are not automatically tracked. Any commission arrangement for them must be agreed in writing in advance.

4. Links and attribution

Use the referral link provided in your approved affiliate account. Our standard referral cookie window is 30 days. Where multiple affiliate links are involved, the first valid affiliate referral recorded in an active tracking window generally retains credit.

Attribution depends on successful tracking. Cookie restrictions, consent choices, deleted cookies, different devices or browsers, and some in-app browsers can prevent tracking. Clicking a link does not by itself guarantee a commission, and the program does not provide lifetime attribution to a customer.

If you believe a referral is missing, contact us with the relevant date, link, and available order reference. We will review the available records. Do not send payment card information or unnecessary customer personal information.

5. Payments and adjustments

Eligible commissions are paid monthly in U.S. dollars through PayPal, with no minimum payout threshold. Each commission has a 30-day holding period from the date the referral is recorded and must satisfy the qualifying-purchase requirements before payment.

Commissions that become eligible after a monthly payment run carry forward to the next run. Provide current payment details for an account authorized to receive the payment, along with any tax or identity documentation reasonably required to process it. A missing or invalid payment destination can delay payment.

The holding period is an affiliate payment rule; it does not extend or change our customer return policy. A recorded referral or commission notification remains subject to verification, refunds, and corrections.

We may withhold a disputed commission while reviewing the underlying order or suspected misuse. We will explain material adjustments. If an already-paid commission is reversed because of a refund, chargeback, fraud, or calculation error, we may offset that amount against future commissions with notice.

You are responsible for your applicable taxes. Payment providers may apply their own account, receiving, or currency-conversion requirements and fees.

6. Honest recommendations and disclosure

Make truthful recommendations and describe only experiences you have actually had. Clearly explain that you earn a commission near each promotional recommendation or referral link. A disclosure hidden in a profile, footer, or separate terms page is not enough.

Example disclosure: “I earn a commission when you buy through this link.”

Use disclosures appropriate to the format, including in videos and near links in descriptions. Follow applicable advertising rules and platform requirements. Do not make unsupported claims about product safety, certifications, sustainability, compatibility, or likely earnings.

7. Promotion rules

Share helpful content through the websites, social channels, newsletters, or community campaigns described in your approved application. Contact us before materially changing your promotion methods.

The following are not permitted:

• Spam, unlawful marketing messages, purchased contact lists, or promotions without required permissions.
• Fake orders, self-referrals, bots, forced clicks, hidden redirects, cookie stuffing, or attempts to interfere with another affiliate’s tracking.
• Impersonating Timber Brands or presenting your site, social account, or advertisement as an official Timber Brands channel.
• Bidding on Timber Brands names, trademarks, or misspellings in paid advertising without prior written permission.
• Inventing or publishing unauthorized discounts, misleading coupon offers, or using coupon and discount arbitrage to capture commissions.
• Misleading product claims, fabricated testimonials, or promises of guaranteed income.

We may ask you to correct or remove content that violates these terms.

8. Schools and community groups

Teachers may apply individually, and authorized representatives may apply for a school, PTA, PTO, or community organization. Tell us whether commissions are personal earnings or intended for an organization.

Before launching a group campaign, confirm the organization’s permission, campaign arrangements, and intended payment recipient with us. Follow your school or organization’s rules on outside income, fundraising, and use of its name or communication channels.

Clearly tell supporters who receives the commission and how the campaign benefits that recipient. Do not present a personal affiliate account as an official school fundraiser or claim that purchases are tax-deductible donations without a valid basis. Do not collect or submit student information for affiliate tracking.

9. Using our brand

While your account is approved and active, you have limited, nonexclusive, revocable permission to use the Timber Brands images, logos, and promotional materials we approve for your affiliate activity.

Use materials as supplied and follow any accompanying instructions. Do not alter our trademarks or register domain names, account names, or other identifiers that suggest you are Timber Brands. All ownership rights remain with their respective owners.

Stop using materials if we withdraw permission or your participation ends. This permission does not grant manufacturing rights or a license to our patents.

10. Changes and ending participation

You may leave the program by contacting us. We may suspend or end participation for violations, suspected fraud, legal requirements, or changes to the program. Stop sharing affiliate links and using program materials when participation ends.

Valid commissions earned before termination remain payable under these terms, subject to verification, the holding period, and legitimate adjustments. Ending an account does not by itself cancel valid earned commissions.

We may update the program and these terms. We will post the revised version and notify active affiliates by email before material changes take effect, except where immediate action is needed for legal or fraud-prevention reasons. Rate changes apply prospectively and do not recalculate previously earned commissions.

11. Privacy and contact

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information. Use any information available through your affiliate account only for authorized program purposes, and keep it secure.
